Education Packs and Workshops for Schools

Acting on Impulse has launched an innovative scheme for schools, which supports programmes of study within PSHE, Religious Studies and Film and Media Studies. The schemes are suitable for KS3 and KS4.

There are various option levels available which fulfil course requirements whilst bringing real stories from the streets to life, opening up doors for learners to debate and create. Take a look at the options below to see what might best suit your school, by extending and supporting your curriculum. If you need something more bespoke to fit into an area of study you are concentrating on, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We also have a number of workshop leaders and film industry professionals who can tailor hands on workshops or help mentor learners to make their own film. We have created and delivered workshops such as ‘Faith and Justice’ and ‘Faith and Hope’, and supported the launch of RS syllabus ‘Illuminating Pathways’ (Durham/Newcastle/Blackburn Dioceses), as well as focussing on the issues surrounding homelessness. As a faith based charity our workshops to adults and/or children can help the delivery of SMSC, as well as citizenship, drama, PSHE and Religious Studies. Or why not do a joint project? If this is something you would like to explore, please let us know.
